We're looking for someone who speaks both clinical and tech fluently. The Clinical Systems Analyst sits at the intersection of our care operations and the digital tools that power them, serving as the go-to bridge between our clinical teams and our technology platforms.
This is a role for someone who's been in a care environment, understands how communities actually operate day-to-day, and gets energized by making systems work better for the people using them. This role is new to our organization, which means you'll have real opportunity to shape how we use technology to support resident care, community operations, and data-driven decision making across 150+ senior living communities.
Responsibilities:
Clinical and Resident Care Systems
- Serve as the primary functional owner for August Health (EHR/eMAR) and other clinical platforms, supporting configuration, optimization, and day-to-day issue resolution
- Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into system solutions
- Support integrations with resident engagement platforms, nurse call systems, and Sage
Sales & Operations Systems
- Support Welcome Home (CRM/sales platform) and related operational tools, ensuring alignment between sales workflows and community operations including move-in and electronic lease workflows, dining, entry management and other community operations tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve data flow and reporting across systems
Project Management & Support
- Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements using structured project management practices
- Develop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate with vendors, IT, and business teams to keep initiatives on track
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Pull, analyze, and present data to support clinical and operational decision-making
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give leadership and communities clear visibility into performance
- Identify trends and surface insights that drive continuous improvement
Compliance & Data Governance
- Handle protected health information (PHI) in clinical systems in line with HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
- Support user access and role assignments with attention to segregation of duties and audit trails, including systems where workflows touch billing and financial reporting subject to SOX/ICFR controls.
Training & Support
- Develop end-user training materials and provide hands-on support during system rollouts and updates
- Act as an internal resource for community and corporate staff navigating system questions
Required
- 3+ years of experience working in or closely with a clinical or community operations environment (senior living, long-term care, or post-acute preferred)
- Hands-on experience with clinical or operational software platforms — EMR systems, CRM tools, or similar
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated project management experience — able to manage timelines, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to both frontline staff and senior leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
Preferred
- Direct experience with August Health, Welcome Home, or similar senior living platforms
- Familiarity with nurse call systems, resident engagement tools, or Sage
- Formal project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
- Experience working in a multi-site or enterprise environment
- Familiarity with HIPAA and/or SOX/ICFR controls in a regulated, multi-site environment.
