Full description

WSP Middle East is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects across our Integrated Design & Delivery (IDD) business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project performance through all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design management through to delivery and client handover, ensuring excellence in quality, commercial performance, stakeholder management, and programme delivery.

This role is ideally suited to a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience managing large-scale aviation, infrastructure, and mega development projects in the Middle East and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major aviation, infrastructure, and mixed-use development projects.
  • Manage multidisciplinary design and delivery teams across engineering, architecture, planning, and specialist disciplines.
  • Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships with clients, authorities, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive project governance, programme controls, risk management, and commercial performance.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements.
  • Lead project reporting, resource planning, and financial management activities.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop project managers and technical teams within the business.
  • Support business development activities, strategic pursuits, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Champion WSP's culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in project and programme management.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale aviation, airport, transportation, infrastructure, and mega-development projects.
  • Extensive Middle East experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, commercial management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design and delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, APM, or equivalent are advantageous.
