We are seeking a Data Analyst to support an enterprise data and analytics initiative in Madrid. The role focuses on translating business requirements into sustainable analytics foundations, data models, dashboards, Power Apps, and actionable insights while coordinating with stakeholders and development teams.

Your tasks

• Analyze functional requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop or improve analytics foundations and solutions such as data models, dashboards, Power Apps, and related foundations

• Lead stakeholder-framing meetings in line with the data way of working, prepare meeting materials and minutes, and follow up on agreed actions

• Act as the data business expert and support project management from the business perspective

• Propose sustainable technical solutions and support the generation of relevant business insights

• Prepare and/or supervise documentation in compliance with defined standards and requirements

• Perform corrective and scalable maintenance of analytics foundations and data models

• Contribute to defining the business case and the overall objectives of the project

• Define and monitor project plans, KPIs, metrics, activities, and methodologies in collaboration with the development team

• Apply current analytics and foundation trends, developments, and practices to improve the service

• Supervise content and ensure overall quality where applicable

Must have competences

• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization

• Proficiency in SQL and experience interacting with databases

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience with data modelling

• Proficiency in Python

• Ability to translate business needs into processes and IT evolutions and to design functional requirements

• Ability to create clear documentation using PowerPoint

• Experience with meeting management

• Strong business understanding

• Understanding of the relevant organization's data organization and system functional architecture

• Teamwork and adaptability

• Ability to clarify and simplify technical concepts

• Ability to influence stakeholders

• Problem-solving orientation with the ability to identify and propose solutions

• Skill in Agile project management

• Knowledge of ideation methods

• Experience with R

• Strong organizational skills and punctuality
