Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Presales Engineer to join our presales team. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for our Imperva portfolio, while providing secondary presales architecture and demonstration support for Thales data security and identity management solutions.You will work closely with channel partners, reseller sales teams, and end-party technical stakeholders across the region to drive technical discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations, lead Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and align customer security requirements with actionable technical solutions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Enablement & Channel Support
- Act as the dedicated presales technical authority for Imperva (Application & Data Security) and secondary support for Thales (Data Protection & Access Management).
- Enable channel partner engineers through technical briefings, demonstration guides, and solution architecture training.
- Partner with internal sales teams to qualify partner opportunities, evaluate solution fit, and support requirement discovery.
Solution Architecture & Proof of Concept (PoC)
- Design end-to-end security architectures incorporating WAF, API Security, DDoS Protection, Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), and Data Security Fabric (Imperva), alongside CipherTrust Data Security and Key Management (Thales).
- Scope, build, and execute technical PoCs and Proofs of Value (PoVs) to validate solution performance against customer requirements.
- Address feature/capability gaps by documenting requirements, consulting vendors on roadmaps/workarounds, and delivering clear technical remediation plans.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Conduct technical presentations, live solution demonstrations, and architecture reviews for partner sales reps and end clients.
- Assist partners in responding to technical RFPs, RFIs, and compliance questionnaires.
- Uncover pain points, environmental constraints, and key security objectives to tailor presales engagements for maximum impact
Qualifications & Experience
Core Technical Expertise
- Imperva Solutions: Direct hands-on experience or deep architectural familiarity with Imperva Application Security (Cloud WAF, DDoS, API Security, etc) and/or Data Security (DAM, Data Security Fabric).
- Thales Solutions: Working knowledge or presales experience with Thales CipherTrust Data Security Platform, Key Management (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), or SafeNet Trusted Access (STA).
Professional Background
- 3–5+ years of experience in a Presales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Sales role within a IT/Cybersecurity Value-Added Distributor (VAD), vendor, or system integrator.
- Strong background in web application security, data protection/encryption, network architecture, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven track record of running successful PoCs and managing technical objections in competitive sales cycles.
Certifications (Advantageous)
- Imperva Associate/Specialist certifications.
- Thales Certified Administrator / Engineer credentials.
- Other Cybersecurity Certifications
Soft Skills
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business-focused value propositions for C-level executives and technical leads alike.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience or relevant certifications will be a PLUS.

Other Information:
- Working hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
- Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experiences
