As a Business Systems Analyst at Lam, you will play a key role in shaping how the organization uses ServiceNow to simplify work, improve service delivery, strengthen platform governance, and enable scalable digital workflows. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise processes, partner with cross-functional leadership, and help evolve a strategic platform used across the business.
What you’ll do
- Partner with business stakeholders and platform teams to understand objectives, pain points, current-state processes, and desired outcomes.
- Lead requirements discovery sessions, workshops, and process reviews for ServiceNow initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, process flows, solution documentation, clear user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Evaluate requests against ServiceNow out-of-the-box capabilities, platform standards, governance practices, and long-term maintainability.
- Support intake, prioritization, backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery tracking, UAT, release readiness, and post-release validation and hypercare.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, administrators, Quality Assurance (QA), and process owners to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes.
- Perform current-state and future-state process analysis, gap assessments, and impact analysis across ServiceNow workflows.
- Support platform enhancements, integrations, data quality improvements, reporting needs, and operational process optimization.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment, manage expectations, escalate risks and dependencies, and communicate clearly to business and IT leadership.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, platform governance, documentation standards, and delivery processes.
Who we’re looking for
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise technology platforms.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, preferably across ITSM and additional modules such as ITOM, ITAM (HAM/SAM), CMDB, or APM/EA.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes, including incident, request, change, problem, knowledge, asset, configuration, and service catalog management.
- Demonstrated ability to write business requirements, functional specifications, high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery models.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to balance business value, user experience, platform governance, and delivery feasibility.
Preferred qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Specialist, or related ServiceNow certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification or practical experience applying ITIL practices in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform governance, demand intake, release management, CMDB data quality, service catalog design, or workflow automation.
- Experience working with integrations, reporting, dashboards, data models, or enterprise architecture practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist and ServiceNow Otto, and how they can improve user experience, productivity, knowledge discovery, and workflow automation.
- Experience in a large global enterprise, shared services, manufacturing, technology, or regulated environment.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
