Summary: As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all components align effectively. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to coordinating efforts among different teams to support the overall data infrastructure and platform strategy, fostering a cohesive and efficient environment for data management and utilization.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to align data platform components with organizational goals and technical requirements. - Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure data platform integrity. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices related to data platform design. - Experience in collaborating with architects and engineering teams to integrate complex data systems. - Ability to analyze and optimize data flows and storage solutions for performance and scalability. - Familiarity with data governance and compliance considerations within data platform environments. - Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving data integration and modeling challenges.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
