Are you passionate about turning complex engineering concepts into clear, customer-friendly documentation? We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Documentation Specialist to create, maintain, and publish high-quality technical content, including datasheets, user manuals, application notes, process guidelines, and customer instructions. This role partners closely with engineering Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform technical information into accurate, professional, and publication-ready documentation while ensuring adherence to documentation standards, style guides, and structured authoring principles.

Your roleKey responsibilities in your new role

  • Create and maintain technical customer documentation, such as datasheets, user manuals, application notes, process guidelines, and customer instructions
  • Support Subject Matter Experts (engineers) in transforming technical information into clear, accurate, and publication-ready documentation
  • Execute technical documentation activities using established templates, standards, and workflows
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, formatting, and linguistic accuracy of technical documentation before publication
  • Apply and maintain technical documentation standards, terminology, style guides, and structured authoring principles
  • Support the review, approval, publication, and maintenance of technical documents throughout the product lifecycle
  • Identify and flag content issues, inconsistencies, missing information, and deviations from documentation standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of documentation

Your profileQualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A professional education in technical communication or a degree in engineering, computer science, natural sciences, or a similar field
  • Already been experienced in technical writing, technical communication, or documentation activities
  • A structured, precise, and quality-oriented way of working
  • The ability to understand and communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders in an international environment
  • Familiarity with documentation tools, content management systems, or structured authoring methodologies Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-oriented mindset
  • Very high professional proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
  • Experience with XML-based authoring environments, ideally DITA XML is a plus
  • Knowledge of AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs)and AI-assisted content creation tools, is a plus
  • A strong interest in digitalization, automation, and modern documentation technologies is a plus
