We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the end-to-end strategy, development, governance, and lifecycle management of Omnivise Fleet SCADA, Siemens Energy's Fleet SCADA solution built on the WinCC OA platform.
The role will be responsible for defining the product vision, establishing the Fleet SCADA Competence Center, managing the OEM partnership with Siemens, and driving the development of Siemens Energy value-add capabilities including libraries, UI components, alarm management, business logic, lifecycle management, fleet dashboards, reporting, and OES integration services.
The Product Manager acts as the business and technical owner of the Fleet SCADA initiative, leading product strategy, development governance, pilot execution, training, support readiness, and market adoption while ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy's Omnivise ecosystem and long-term digitalization strategy.
A Snapshot of your Day
A typical day involves aligning product strategy with Siemens Energy business stakeholders, managing the Fleet SCADA roadmap, collaborating with Siemens on WinCC OA customization and partnership topics, reviewing engineering progress, prioritizing product requirements, and driving solution readiness for pilot deployments.
You will work closely with product development, engineering, cybersecurity, lifecycle management, service organizations, and customers to establish a scalable Fleet SCADA product and competence center while ensuring successful customer adoption and long-term operational support
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities of role)
Strategic
- Define and own the Omnivise Fleet SCADA product vision, roadmap, release strategy, and long-term growth plan.
- Establish product scope and ownership boundaries between OES, Fleet SCADA, and WinCC OA.
- Lead OEM partnership, governance, licensing, and collaboration with Siemens.
- Develop and maintain the Fleet SCADA business case, go-to-market strategy, and customer adoption roadmap.
- Drive pilot programs, customer onboarding, and transition to operational product ownership.
Operational
- Build and lead the Fleet SCADA Competence Center covering Product Management, Development, Engineering & Execution, Service, and Support.
- Define and establish development tools, engineering processes, CI/CD practices, testing strategy, and validation environments.
- Establish Fleet SCADA development labs, certification programs, training concepts, and engineering standards.
- Manage product lifecycle management, upgrade strategy, patch management, release management, and long-term maintenance.
- Define Level 2/Level 3 support strategy in collaboration with REC and Siemens teams.
- Lead delivery of Siemens Energy Fleet SCADA value-add capabilities including Fleet Overview Dashboard, Alarm Dashboard, Authentication Services, Data Management Services, Standard Siemens Energy Libraries, Alarm Management Framework, Business Logic Framework, OES Platform Integration, Fleet Central System capabilities
Product Delivery & Governance
- Lead solution concept development, product design reviews, and roadmap execution.
- Manage WinCC OA customization and branding activities.
- Define engineering and execution models, including system integrator engagement where required.
- Drive product quality gates, release governance, and handover to operational organizations.
- Align stakeholders across Product Management, Engineering, Service, Cybersecurity, and Omnivise Platform teams.
What You Bring (required qualification and skill sets)
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Product Management, SCADA Systems, Industrial Automation, Energy Management, or Digital Products.
- Proven experience managing enterprises or industrial software products from concept to deployment.
- Strong understanding of SCADA architectures, industrial communication, remote monitoring, and digital solutions for industrial or energy customers.
- Hands-on knowledge of WinCC OA platform capabilities, architecture, lifecycle management, and deployment models.
- Experience driving cross-functional collaboration across product, development, engineering, service, and business organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management, business case development, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience managing OEM, technology vendor, or strategic product partnerships.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- WinCC OA Certified Engineer or equivalent advanced WinCC OA qualification.
- Experience with OEM product partnerships and software licensing models.
- Experience with Alarm Management, Asset Performance Management (APM), Operation Performance Management (OPM), Omnivise SPPA-T3000 SCADA, and Remote Operations Centers.
- Knowledge of Industrial Cybersecurity, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Release Governance, and Digital Platforms.
- Experience within Siemens Energy, Siemens, ETM, or similar industrial software organizations.
- Experience leading globally distributed development and engineering teams.
Success Criteria
- Establish a fully functional Fleet SCADA Competence Center.
- Deliver the first Fleet SCADA product release and pilot deployment.
- Build sustainable development, testing, training, service, and support capabilities.
- Formalize and operationalize the ETM/WinCC OA OEM partnership model.
- Position Omnivise Fleet SCADA as a strategic building block within the Siemens Energy Omnivise portfolio
