We are looking for a Bid Project Manager who can drive and coordinate bid processes for large and complex water and wastewater projects, primarily within public tenders.

You will play a central role in our bid activities, helping to set the direction for how we compete, collaborate, and win, always in close cooperation with your colleagues in the bid team and our skilled specialists.

Job Description

Your role

Based on your past experience with tenders for large and complex water and wastewater treatment projects, you will lead the bid process from initiation to submission. You will work with a broad portfolio of customer segments within wastewater treatment, treatment plants, and waterworks for both Danish and Norwegian clients. In addition, you will participate in collaborative project models, where early dialogue, trust, and commercial understanding are key to developing the best possible solutions.

You will hold a central coordinating role, bringing together contributions from multiple disciplines and ensuring that technical, commercial, and process-related inputs are combined into one coherent and well-structured bid. You will be responsible for ensuring that pricing, schedules, and key contractual terms align logically and competitively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving and coordinating bid processes end-to-end and ensuring timely submission
  • Writing both technical and nontechnical descriptions of the tender independently and with input from other parties 
  • Collecting and structuring technical, commercial, and process-related inputs into a unified proposal
  • Developing winning strategies in close collaboration with colleagues
  • Planning and managing schedules, resources, and milestones throughout the bid process
  • Ensuring high quality and compliance with Krüger’s standards in all bid materials

Qualifications

Who are you?

You have a relevant education preferable within water and environmental engineering that enables you to understand the technical specifications of water and wastewater treatment plants in order to develop customized solutions for clients.

You have documented experience with tender management and complex bid processes from relevant industries. You thrive at the intersection of technology, process, and business. You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner and ensure progress and quality in bid execution. You are able to maintain overview in complex processes, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure coherence in proposals—even under high pace and tight deadlines.

  • Have relevant technical insight, within water, wastewater, or process plants
  • Are able to translate technical input into clear, coherent, and competitive bids
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate naturally across disciplines and stakeholders
  • Have strong commercial understanding and an eye for risk, scope, and competitive parameters
  • Thrive in environments with short deadlines and maintain focus on the overall proposal

As a person, you are curious, proactive, and a strong collaborator—also across disciplines and national borders.

Fluency in Danish and preferably also Norwegian, both written and spoken, is required. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively in English is expected.
