Job Description
NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world’s first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions.
Role Overview
Expert DevOps Engineer provides consultation of functional organization to implement DevOps principles in term of culture and technologies. Holder of the position prepares prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology, driving continuous improvement. DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications in order to deliver quality standard product portfolio on AI Cloud platform.
- Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements.
- Consult and provide project deliverables to fulfill the project scope.
- Own responsibility for maintenance & support of enhancement of the Product pipelines with further levels of value chain, connecting pipeline to different platforms and infrastructures, integration of different platforms and infrastructures into the pipeline, root-cause analysis of pipeline runtime errors
- Develop, and implement architecture of services based on AI Cloud platform requirements.
- Solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team.
- Setup and manage integration with partner applications.
Qualifications
- Have good knowledge of Kubernetes container-based technologies.
- Have experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Have experience with Automation tools and automation deployments (Ansible / Salt-stack / Terraform / Helm).
- Have experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management.
- Have knowledge of automation with Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with Linux OS.
- Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus, …).
- Speak English at B2 level, German is an advantage.
