IT Security Engineer

About the role...

We are currently seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.

What you will do...

• Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program;
• Develop and enhance an information security management framework
• Manage company’s Information Security Management System activities and policies;
• Work directly with the company management to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes;
• Understand and interact with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, from the business, project management and technical perspective;
• Ensure that all projects’ activities are compliant with the Information Security Governance and its related security risks.

Technical Skills required...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the Information Security domain;
• Knowledge related to Information Security compliance, regulatory and industry standards at the EU level
• Knowledge related to information security risk management frameworks and standards;
• Knowledge related to the development of Information Security Policies, Procedures, Technical Guidelines, Security and Business Continuity Plans
• Experience working in an ISO 27001 Organization
