Job Responsibilities:
Automotive ECU Embedded Software Leader (Radar Product)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of embedded software for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
- Manage the scope, goals, timeline, and resources of software development projects.
- Prepare software development plan and software configuration management plan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, system engineers, and validation teams.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk management and problem-solving activities.
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Report project progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Mentor and guide team members, providing technical expertise and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- More than 5years experience in embedded software development for ECUs
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge in software configuration management tool (PTC, GitHub, etc.)
- Knowledge in coding standards such as MISRA-C and CERT-C
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge in automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay etc.).
- Knowledge in automotive UDS (ISO 14229)
- Familiarity with requirement management tool
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Business level of Japanese and English
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge in ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR standards.
- Experience managing large-scale software development projects.
- Experience working in multicultural and multinational teams.
- Familiar with OTA concept
- Familiar with secure coding
