As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. YOUR ROLE

We have an excellent opportunity to join us as a Senior Project Manager based in our Eagle Farm, Brisbane office. The purpose of this position is to lead and manage allocated bids and/or projects in the Land / Protected Vehicles business portfolio.

 

Duties will cover all aspects of Bid & Project Management including:

• Leading and managing assembled bid/project teams to meet business objectives.
• Ensuring the project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety and quality are exceeded.
• Strategically leading the development of high quality and competitive bid offers.
• Adherence to and improvement of the Thales Bids & Project Management Governance framework.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• Degree qualified in business, engineering, project management or other suitable discipline.
• Proven experience in Bid and Project Management activities at a senior level with multi-partners / major co-contractors.
• Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Ability to lead in an international environment in diverse cultures, multicultural and unstable arena concerning one or several stakeholders.
• Proven and effective leadership skills with a high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience in leading complex bids and projects across geographies and time zones.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Experience with Defence ASDEFCON procurement.
