Overview

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Insurance domain and Strong experience with Life Insurance Protection / Term Insurance / Shield products.

Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Insurance domain.
  • Strong experience with Life Insurance Protection / Term Insurance / Shield products.
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end Life Insurance policy lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance product features, business rules, underwriting, premium processing, policy servicing, and claims.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business requirements.
  • Hands-on experience preparing BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and technology/development teams.
  • Experience in SIT/UAT and defect management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working on new product development or product enhancements.
  • Knowledge of Life Insurance product configuration/rating engines.
  • Exposure to policy administration systems (PAS).
  • Experience with insurance platforms such as eBAO, Life/Policy Administration platforms, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Actuarial/product pricing concepts.
  • Exposure to regulatory/compliance-driven changes in the insurance industry.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

8 to 12 years experience as Life Insurance BA and worked on Term/Protection/Shield products.
