Location: Cebu City/ Philippines
Work schedule: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM local time in Cebu

About the Role As BI & Data Warehouse Engineer, you will help build and maintain the data foundation that enables reliable reporting, analytics and business decision-making across the organisation. Based in the Philippines and working from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM local time in Cebu, you will ensure a daily 4-hour overlap with Germany from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CET. You will design data models, develop data pipelines, maintain BI reports and ensure that business teams have access to accurate, trusted and well-documented data. You will work closely with stakeholders, analysts and technical teams to translate business questions into scalable data solutions and continuously improve our BI and data warehouse environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data warehouse structures, semantic models and trusted datasets as a reliable single source of truth.
- Develop and optimise data pipelines, ELT processes and automated data transformations for business-critical reporting.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports and self-service analytics solutions, especially in Power BI or similar BI platforms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs and translate requirements into actionable analytics.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, documentation, lineage and appropriate access controls across reporting and analytics solutions.
- Support users with training, documentation and self-service resources to strengthen data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve reporting processes, data pipelines and BI performance.
- Contribute ideas for modern BI, analytics and data engineering practices in an international technology environment.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully in daily work to improve quality, efficiency, and outcomes, while applying strong judgment, verification, and full ownership of the final result.

Your Profile
- 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data warehousing or a similar data-focused role.
- Good SQL skills and hands-on experience with data modelling, data warehouses or BI platforms.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker or a comparable BI tool.
- Basic experience with ETL / ELT processes, data pipelines and transformation tools such as dbt is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, documentation-oriented mindset.
- High quality standards regarding data accuracy, consistency, governance and access control.
- Professional English proficiency and the ability to communicate clearly with international stakeholders.
- Hands-on attitude and motivation to turn business questions into trusted, scalable data solutions.
- You are confident using AI tools in a professional context, can guide and review AI-generated outputs critically, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work.
