The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Project Manager to join our Brisbane Development team on a 12-month fixed term contract and play a key leadership role in the delivery of a major residential development project.
As Senior Development Project Manager, you will provide leadership and governance across all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring projects are commercially sound, appropriately de-risked and successfully delivered.
You will act as the critical link between Development, Design, Construction and key stakeholder groups, driving alignment between project vision, commercial objectives, programme, procurement strategy and delivery execution. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading project delivery strategies and Project Execution Plans
- Driving design management, consultant leadership and design governance
- Managing programme, cost, quality and risk outcomes across the project lifecycle
- Leading procurement strategies, tender processes and commercial negotiations
- Managing planning approvals, authority relationships and external dependencies
- Providing leadership through construction delivery, practical completion and handover
- Mentoring project team members and contributing to development best practice
About You
You are a highly capable project leader with extensive experience managing large-scale property, infrastructure or urban regeneration projects. You are a collaborative leader who balances strategic thinking with practical delivery expertise and thrives in complex development environments. You will also bring:
- 10+ years' experience in project, development, design or delivery management
- Experience leading complex residential developments through design, procurement and delivery
- Strong commercial, contractual and procurement expertise
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams
- Demonstrated experience managing programme, cost, quality, risk and safety outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Project Management or a related discipline
