Translation Project Manager (f/m/x)

You have experience in Translation Project Management and want to be part of the marketing team at Anton Paar, a world-leading manufacturer of precision measuring instruments. In this position, you will be responsible for the efficient, quality-focused, and cost-effective management of translation projects, leveraging available tools and technologies.

Job Description

• Manage multiple international translation and localization projects, ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery
• Continuously optimize the translation process by leveraging new technologies, automation, and AI-based tools to increase efficiency
• Develop scalable solutions to manage growing international complexity, including increasing numbers of languages, stakeholders, and translation volumes
• Coordinate translators, reviewers, agencies, and internal stakeholders across international teams
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Documentation, and other functions to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage terminology, glossaries, and translation memories to ensure quality and consistency across languages and projects
• Proactively identify process gaps and optimization opportunities and drive their implementation

Qualifications

• Degree in translation studies, language technology, or a comparable field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in translation or localization project management
• Hands-on, proactive personality with a solution-oriented mindset
• Strong project management, coordination, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional role, collaborating with internal stakeholders, agencies, and service providers
• English and German at C1 level; additional languages are an advantage
• Experience with TMS software and AI-based translation tools, including the implementation or development of AI-supported workflows
• Experience in coordinating translation agencies and external partners
• Knowledge of SCHEMA ST4, Adobe FrameMaker, and project management tools of advantage
• Very good MS Office skills

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. 

The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3.500 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That’s why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
