Project Manager – Midstream & Large Projects Location: Asker, Norway / Gdynia, Poland

At Nord Gas Solutions, we are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our Midstream & Large Projects organization. You will take ownership of complex, multidisciplinary projects and lead them from handover through execution and final delivery to customers around the world. This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the center of the action. Your Mission As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful execution of assigned Midstream & Large Projects, balancing technical delivery with commercial performance, customer expectations, quality, schedule, and risk. You will work closely with engineering disciplines, procurement, supply chain, production, commissioning, commercial teams, suppliers, and customers. Your job is to create direction, build momentum, and ensure that everyone involved understands what needs to happen next. Simply put: You own the project and drive it towards successful delivery.

What You Will Do

• Lead complex Midstream & Large Projects from project handover through engineering, procurement, execution, delivery, commissioning support, and close-out.
• Take ownership of project scope, schedule, cost, quality, contractual obligations, opportunities, and risks.
• Be the primary point of contact for the customer and build strong, professional relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and create clear priorities, accountability, and momentum across functions.
• Drive project planning and follow-up, ensuring that critical milestones and customer commitments are understood and delivered.
• Maintain strong commercial awareness and actively manage project financial performance and changes to scope.
• Identify risks and challenges early, establish mitigation actions, and escalate when required.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering, procurement, supply chain, suppliers, production, commissioning, and other internal stakeholders.
• Manage changes and variations in a structured and commercially sound manner.
• Ensure proactive and transparent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuously improving how Nord Gas Solutions executes major projects.

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding with strong project leadership and  commercial awareness.

You probably have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Solid experience managing complex engineering, EPC, EPCI, equipment, or technology projects.
• Experience from the marine, gas, energy, offshore, process, or related engineering industries.
• A strong understanding of project economics, contractual requirements, change management, risk, and schedule management.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Experience working with international customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Project management certification such as PMP/PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent is an advantage.
