Full description

We are looking for a QA Testing Consultant with manual testing experience to support application testing, defect validation, and quality assurance activities.

This role will be contract/consultant based

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand actor flows, business requirements, and functional modules.
  • Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
  • Perform manual functional, UI, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear steps to reproduce.
  • Validate bug fixes provided by the development team.
  • Ensure features are tested properly before UAT and production release.
  • Coordinate with developers, business users, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain test evidence, reports, and regular QA status updates.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA processes
  • Ability to write clear test cases and defect reports
  • Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar tools
  • Basic API testing knowledge using Postman is preferred
  • Good communication, documentation, and attention to detail
  • Experience in insurance, finance, or enterprise application testing
  • Basic understanding of database validation
  • Experience supporting UAT and release testing
