Job description As SKIM continues to grow, our ways of working are evolving to meet the business’ changing size (300+ employees) and needs. As part of this, we are looking for someone to help lead and coordinate SKIM's global marketing activities together with the Global Marketing Director and the rest of the Marketing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, keeping teams aligned and ensuring great ideas are translated into high-quality execution and measurable results.
More specifically, imagine yourself being responsible for the following: • Translating marketing strategy into plans and execution: Translating the global marketing strategy into marketing communications plans, campaigns and execution, while helping determine the right channels, audiences and approaches. You are also the main sparring partner of the Global Marketing Director to help shape the global marketing agenda.
- Marketing project management & team coordination: Oversee the planning, workload, prioritisation and delivery of marketing activities across the team. Ensure projects stay on track, deadlines are met, stakeholders are aligned and the team has the support needed to execute successfully.
- Integrated campaign & brand management: Lead integrated marketing campaigns that align with our brand, drive awareness, generate leads and strengthen client relationships through impactful content and communications.
- Commercial translation of content: Help turn technical, methodological or expert-led input into messages that are more commercially relevant, client-facing and aligned with the intended campaign outcome.
- Stakeholder management: Work closely with commercial teams, subject matter experts and external partners across SKIM's regions to ensure alignment, manage priorities, remove roadblocks and drive successful project delivery.
- Performance reporting & executive support: Maintain clear oversight of marketing activities, campaign performance and project delivery. Prepare reports, presentations and leadership updates, supporting data-driven decision-making and the day-to-day management of the marketing function.
Of course you won’t be doing this on your own. You will be part of the Marketing team that currently consists of 5 other Marketing professionals, and you will be managing other members of the team operationally. You report to the Global Marketing Director and act as a key partner in ensuring the effective planning, coordination and delivery of the team's priorities.
Qualifications Our ideal candidate is someone who has seen the entire spectrum of Marketing Communications in a B2B environment. The role will fit you if you enjoy coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, aligning diverse stakeholders and switching seamlessly between strategic planning, project management and hands-on execution alongside the Marketing team and the business. Collaboration, communication, initiative and organisation are key to success in this role.
More specifically, we’re looking for someone with the following profile: • At least 7 years of experience in (International) B2B Marketing
- Experience with strategic digital marketing planning, integrated campaigns, event planning, CRM management, and website optimisation
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced international environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work effectively across teams, functions, seniority levels and regions
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach. You enjoy turning plans into action, driving execution and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable results
- Experience with HubSpot (or other CRM platforms)
- Experience in an international company and/or international background
- Native or excellent communication in English
- Availability for 32 or 40 hours per week
- Authorization to work in the Netherlands (resident, citizen, valid visa or other)
