We are looking for a Financial Reporting & Analytics Analyst in Monterrey to turn financial data into meaningful insights that support business decisions. In this role, you will analyze financial information, develop reports and dashboards, identify trends and improvement opportunities, and collaborate with teams across the business to improve reporting and financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Develop and support financial reports, dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
- Partner with business teams to understand financial and reporting needs.
- Present financial insights, results, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Document business processes and create clear work instructions.
- Support process improvement and reporting automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
- Support and guide junior team members when needed.
- Stay current with relevant Finance and Analytics practices and tools.
Qualifications
Required
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, Financial Reporting, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or database systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle, JDE, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge or experience with SOX controls.
- Experience with Alteryx or similar data preparation/automation tools.
- Experience in a Shared Services Center or multinational environment.
- Experience with process documentation, reporting frameworks, and process improvement.
- Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
