Strategic Planning & Domain Leadership

  • Strategic Acumen: Support strategic objectives and drive planning efforts within your domain, owning feature delivery over mid- to multi-year horizons.
  • Domain Strategy: Define project goals and delivery roadmaps, aligning resources with priorities and technology staging while maintaining awareness of industry trends.

Execution & Delivery

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Establish and track technical success metrics (KPIs) and use data/dashboards to inform decisions and make progress visible to the organization.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Alignment: Facilitate team alignment to committed work and ensure up- and down-stream dependencies remain synchronized.
  • Reporting: Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and health to stakeholders using established frameworks and concise content tailored for leadership.

Technical Leadership & Influence

  • Engineering Collaboration: Engage effectively with engineers on technical details, understanding architectural implications for project timelines and assessing technical feasibility.
  • Customer Obsession: Translate customer requirements into actionable specifications across multiple teams, ensuring the project adheres to established development processes.

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

  • Proactive Mitigation: Identify, analyze, and solve problems encountered during execution. Anticipate risks and develop robust mitigation plans and escalation paths.
  • Kaizen Mindset: Lead retrospectives and actively contribute to process improvements through Kaizen practices to ensure the team is operating at peak efficiency.

Scope & Change Management

  • Control: Manage the defined scope of deliverables and assess the impact of requested changes on timeline, effort, and quality.
  • Change Control: Follow established organizational processes to document and track changes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project-level shifts.
