Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our IT Services division, where you will leverage your extensive background in modern Java ecosystems to drive the development and maintenance of robust enterprise applications. This role demands a deep understanding of full-stack dynamics, specifically combining core Java proficiency with Polymer framework expertise to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will bring over six years of specialized experience, contributing significantly to our technical architecture while ensuring seamless integration of cloud-native technologies and rigorous testing protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop scalable backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3+, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain frontend components utilizing ES6 and TypeScript within the Polymer framework to create responsive user interfaces.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including the creation of shared libraries and Jenkinsfiles to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments across environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring and observability strategies by configuring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, and Splunk.
  • Develop and execute automated testing suites using JUnit 5 and Mockito to ensure code quality and facilitate reliable integration testing.
  • Manage and optimize database interactions with MySQL and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, resolve complex engineering challenges, and adhere to industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience within the IT Services sector.
  • Proficiency in Java 17 and the Spring Boot 3+ framework for building microservices and enterprise applications.
  • Strong command of frontend technologies, specifically ES6, TypeScript, and the Polymer library.
  • Demonstrated expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment tools, particularly Jenkins, including the creation of shared libraries and Groovy-based scripts.
  • Solid knowledge of relational database systems, specifically MySQL and Oracle.
  • Proven ability to implement automated testing strategies using JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing frameworks.
