The Network & Security Administrator will be responsible for managing and securing the organization's network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role will contribute to the implementation of network and security solutions, monitor infrastructure performance, support cybersecurity initiatives, and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
- Support the implementation and management of network virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies.
- Manage and maintain network and security infrastructure within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud).
- Implement and support Zero Trust security principles and access management controls.
- Monitor network performance and security events, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Administer endpoint security and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions.
- Support vulnerability assessments, remediation activities, and disaster recovery planning.
- Apply security patches and ensure systems remain protected against emerging threats.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for systems, infrastructure, and deployments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to evaluate and implement technology solutions.
- Provide guidance to employees on security tools, policies, and best practices.
- At least 3 years of experience in Network Engineering, Security Engineering, or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience configuring and supporting firewalls, routers, switches, and network security technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts, network security models, and access control principles.
- Experience with cloud networking and security within Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and cybersecurity best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Desired Skills
The following qualifications are considered an advantage:
- Relevant networking or security certifications (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Microsoft, AWS, CISSP).
- Experience with Linux environments and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with SIEM, SOC, vulnerability management, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Experience with VMware NSX, WAF solutions, and advanced cloud security controls.
