  • Are you detail-oriented, self-driven, and passionate about food safety and quality? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our fast-paced production team and help us uphold the highest standards in food manufacturing. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and can make confident decisions with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you!

Hours: 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) or 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:00am)

🧪 What You'll Do:

As a key player in our quality assurance team, you’ll be on the front lines of food safety and compliance. Responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting, sampling, testing, and weighing product to ensure it meets specifications
  • Receiving, testing, and releasing raw materials and finished products
  • Identifying non-compliant products and initiating hold procedures
  • Observing production processes and adjusting when necessary to maintain quality
  • Conducting allergen testing and monitoring critical control points (CCPs) daily
  • Performing and documenting pre-operation inspections and routine audits
  • Supporting customer, SQF, third-party, and internal audits
  • Reviewing product labels for accuracy and compliance
  • Upholding all GMP, HACCP, personal hygiene, and safety protocols
  • Pitching in on other QA tasks as assigned

🛠 What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing QA role with working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs preferred
  • AA degree in a science-related field (preferred, not required)
  • Basic math skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and climbing as needed
  • Ability to navigate between production floor and office tasks
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams
