Global profile overview:

A hybrid BI Engineer, Data Engineer, and Azure Reporting Developer with strong software development skills, capable of working across and integrating multiple BI and data applications within a diverse team environment. Development & Maintenance

  • Application Maintenance• Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based applications & data pipelines (SSIS, Azure, SQL data Engine, SSAS)
  • Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.
  • Implement C#/Visual Basic solutions for automation and integration.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance• Monitoring the services availability and performances
  • Resolving services interruptions or failures
  • Management of the configuration of the application, of the security and user’s habilitation
  • Periodic activities:• Contribute and check the input files synchronization to compute and provide the GEMS financial monthly synthesis
  • Give support to GEMS Governance Team

Collaboration & Agile Practices

  • Work in a Scrum team (Jira, Agile methodology) with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
  • Participate in code reviews (GitLab) and sprint planning.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Monitor unattended executions (daily pipelines) and resolve issues.
  • Ensure data accuracy across Azure Infrastructure and ITSM tools.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  • Update technical documentation for TIGRE architecture and workflows.
  • Train team members on new features or tools (e.g., DAX, Azure).

Requirements:

Technical Skills

Must Have

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database development.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Strong experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  • Experience developing with Power Query and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with Workspace Power BI Services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and database optimization.
  • Experience with Visual Studio development environment.
  • Experience with DAX development and advanced Power BI analytics.
  • Experience with C# or Visual Basic development.
  • Experience using GitLab for source control and CI/CD activities.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms and service management processes.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years in software development (SQL, Power BI, Azure), data engineering, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is a plus.
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Experience supporting production applications and operational platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Experience working in multinational organizations, collaborating effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds, with English serving as the primary language for daily business communication.
