Working from our Eagan, MN office, we are currently in search of a Medical Insurance Quality Assurance Specialist with experience and knowledge of many medical insurance payers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and work time sensitive in-coming insurance verifications based on priority level. Verify insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and required medical documentation for all applicable payers, able to problem solve any odd ball/uncommon insurances. Ability to navigate insurance portals, IVR systems, etc. Review documentation for validity to bill third-party payers. May include but not limited to: Medical Documentation: prescriptions, progress/chart notes from different sources, oxygen saturation/sleep study results, etc. Delivery Documentation received from multiple branches within NRS.
