They are responsible for validating vendor designs, ensuring data integration alignment, and driving clear decision-making across cross-functional teams.

What they look for

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Business Analysis Requirements Gathering Stakeholder Management CRM Implementation Process Mapping Workflow Design Acceptance Criteria Vendor Management Data Integration Sales Process Configuration Facilitation ERP Systems Change Management Technical Documentation

Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience as a Business Analyst or CRM consultant on multiple full-cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales implementations. Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, testable requirements are essential.

Full description

CRM Business Analyst / Requirements Facilitator

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales CRM Implementation

What You’ll Do

  • Extract and document requirements directly from sales leadership — including where the underlying process is newly defined and not yet settled — covering opportunity management, pipeline stages and exit criteria, account tiering, ownership and hand off rules, and approval workflows.
  • Manage a moving baseline. Version, freeze, and change-control requirements as the methodology evolves, so the build has a stable target and changes are handled deliberately rather than through drift.
  • Keep adoption central. Shape requirements around a mobile-first, minimal-click experience and real field usage — the goal is a system reps choose to use, not one they have to be told to use.
  • Own testable acceptance criteria. Define what ‘done and acceptable’ means for each requirement and align it with UAT, so deliverables can be objectively validated and returned if they miss.
  • Review and challenge the vendor. Validate the implementation vendor’s design and Statement of Work against documented requirements, flag gaps and misalignments, and provide constructive, independent pushback on behalf of Source Atlantic.
  • Drive decisions. Move stakeholders who don’t yet share one view toward clear, documented decisions on process sequencing, tier and role structures, and workflows before they become blockers in vendor-led design.
  • Maintain traceability. Ensure what is ultimately built maps back to a documented, stakeholder-confirmed need.
  • Coordinate on data and integration. Work with the CRM data/integration lead so business requirements (account hierarchies, tiering, role-based access, approval workflows) align with the underlying data and integration design across the source ERPs.

What You Need (Required)

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or CRM consultant on multiple full-cycle CRM implementations; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document requirements directly from non-technical business stakeholders, including where requirements are not yet mature or fully defined.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills — able to run structured working sessions and drive stakeholders to clear decisions, including with senior, time-pressured leaders.
  • Solid grasp of CRM sales-process configuration: opportunity/pipeline management, account hierarchies and tiering, role-based access, and approval workflows.
  • Experience working alongside third-party implementation vendors — able to critically review proposals and SOWs and represent the client’s interests independently.
  • Excellent written communication — able to produce clear, structured, unambiguous requirements documentation and acceptance criteria.
  • Able to work independently, manage changing requirements, and deliver under tight timeframes across distributed, cross-time-zone teams.

Assets (Not Required, but Valued)

  • Experience in B2B, distribution, or wholesale sales environments.
  • Familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 and/or Infer CloudSuite Distribution (or comparable distribution ERPs), given the source systems feeding this CRM.
  • Track record on CRM adoption turnarounds — rebuilding usage of an underused system.
  • Awareness of AI-assisted sales use cases (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) and how to capture them as requirements.
