Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate for the Production Support Engineer position will work directly with other internal teams including engineers and chemists, to complete projects in support of process and product development. The Engineer will facilitate the development and launch of brand-new chemistries to support the business's high growth markets in the semiconductors business, specifically working on scaling up our products.

What will you be doing?

  • Partner with the Manufacturing team to establish, analyze, control, and continuously improve paste manufacturing processes to meet business and market requirements.
  • Collaborate with the product development team on new product introductions, process modifications, and manufacturing optimization activities.
  • Provide technical support for product evaluation and qualification, including experimental design, troubleshooting, process development, and performance validation.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to support product manufacturing transfer and scale-up activities across sister sites.
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for Manufacturing personnel and cross-functional teams to enhance process knowledge and operational excellence.
  • Contribute to safety, quality, productivity continuous improvement, and capacity expansion projects to support business growth objectives.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical expertise and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the paste, ink, electronics, or related manufacturing industry is preferred.

What competencies will you need?

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies, DOE, and statistical process analysis is preferred.
  • Good proficiency in both English and Chinese, including verbal communication, writing, and reading comprehension.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
