THE WORK:

  • You'll lead hyper-scale and mission-critical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout, ensuring successful delivery against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
  • You'll prepare comprehensive scopes of work, develop RFPs, evaluate proposals, and manage the procurement process for contractors, subcontractors, and key project partners.
  • You'll oversee general contractors and subcontractors, driving performance, maintaining stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual requirements.
  • You'll administer construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including managing RFIs, change orders, correspondence, documentation, and project records.
  • You'll develop, monitor, and control project budgets, forecasts, and payment applications while identifying and mitigating cost and financial risks.
  • You'll manage construction schedules and sequencing activities, proactively identifying long-lead items, critical path impacts, and schedule recovery opportunities.
  • You'll coordinate with local authorities, building departments, engineers, and regulatory agencies to secure permits and support project completion and occupancy requirements.
  • You'll verify the delivery and installation readiness of owner-furnished equipment (OFCI) and coordinate activities to maintain project continuity.
  • You'll lead project meetings, including owner, architect, contractor, production, and safety meetings, while documenting decisions, actions, and project status updates.
  • You'll monitor site execution for safety, quality, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards, while providing regular reporting on project risks and performance to senior leadership.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of construction project management experience with progressively increasing responsibility on large-scale construction projects.
  • 8 years of experience delivering mission-critical projects, preferably within data centers, advanced manufacturing, industrial facilities, or similar complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management methodologies, contract administration, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, change management, and project delivery processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook, with strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
