Overview:

The leading bank in the European Union and a leading international player is seeking a Fullstack (Java and Angular) Developer responsible for designing, developing and maintaining enterprise web applications within a global and multicultural environment. The role requires strong expertise in Java development, Angular front-end technologies and transactional SQL development. The consultant will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, integration, performance optimization and production deployments, ensuring compliance with development best practices, coding standards and security requirements.

What will you do?

  • Participate in the complete development lifecycle of enterprise web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and propose technical solutions
  • Design, develop and maintain applications using Java and modern software engineering practices
  • Develop and optimize SQL procedures for efficient data retrieval and transaction processing
  • Integrate applications with enterprise systems using industry-standard integration technologies and best practices
  • Design and implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines and software development best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to code refactoring, optimization and performance improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
  • Support product delivery activities across multiple environments in coordination with other technical teams

What are we looking for?

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Informatics or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development, including Microservices architectures
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with modern Front-End frameworks such as Angular or React
  • Strong experience in Agile software development environments
  • Experience with cloud-native solutions and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Experience in enterprise-scale application development and integration
  • Strong focus on software quality, security, maintainability and performance continuous improvement
  • Experience with Java Development (Java 21), Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Experience with JavaScript and Angular
  • Experience with SQL Development using T-SQL (Sybase) or equivalent transactional SQL technologies
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture and Development
  • Experience with Web Application Development and Architecture
  • Experience with Cloud-Based Development and Continuous Delivery Practices
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Unit and Integration Testing using JUnit 5 and Mockito
  • Experience with Git Version Control and Branching Strategies
  • Experience with Hibernate and ORM Technologies
  • Experience with Build Automation using Maven and Gradle
  • Experience with Software Design Patterns and Development Best Practices
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies
  • Fluent in English
