Full description

As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager within the Consumer Banking Deposits team, you will be a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space while creating structures that enhance coordination across the product line. In this role, you will partner closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all product initiatives meet regulatory and policy requirements while driving business readiness for new launches and enhancements.

You will proactively identify operational risks, streamline processes to improve efficiency, and foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless, high-quality customer experiences. You will also lead change initiatives, manage stakeholder communications, and support the continuous improvement of the Deposits 2.0 portfolio.

This role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and adaptability to shifting priorities and resources within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communication plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives.
  • Enable operational efficiency by supporting training programs, maturity assessments, capability development, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Drive the adaptation and evolution of the product-line framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing decisions, and trade-offs are effectively managed.
  • Implement product-level collection strategies, including controls, financial oversight, and resourcing requirements.
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all Deposits 2.0 product initiatives and operations adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Lead business readiness activities for new product launches and enhancements, including process design, stakeholder engagement, communications, and training efforts.
  • Oversee day-to-day portfolio operations, resolve operational challenges, and optimize workflows to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks through the implementation of effective controls and ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Partner with Product, Risk, and Legal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and regulatory risks through documentation, monitoring, controls, and reporting activities.
  • Support regulatory and legal reviews by maintaining audit-ready documentation, coordinating remediation efforts, and adapting operations to evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional governance and communication by integrating risk, control, and legal considerations throughout the product lifecycle and new product development processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise, in program management, portfolio operations, performance optimization, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing and implementing operational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully within product development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in consumer banking operations, product management, or portfolio management, with a deep understanding of deposit products and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Product organizations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify operational risks, implement controls, and optimize processes for efficiency and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with experience leading business readiness efforts and supporting successful product launches and enhancements.

  • Experience partnering with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams within a financial services environment to support regulatory adherence and operational excellence.
  • Success driving business readiness activities for complex product launches, large-scale initiatives, and organizational change efforts.
  • Advanced knowledge of deposit products, consumer banking regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills with the ability to drive alignment and achieve successful outcomes across all levels of the organization.
