Overview

TRC is seeking a Project Manager with our Safety-Industrial Hygiene practice in our Chicago, IL office. This position will work on various public and private projects throughout Chicagoland and potentially adjacent states.

Responsibilities

· Inspection for asbestos, Mold, Lead-based paint, and PCBs.

· Water intrusion investigation and or water leak investigation.

· Perform project oversight and coordination with contractors.

· Collect air samples as required by various regulatory agencies.

· Prepare project chain of custody.

· Operate and maintain instruments including sampling pumps, calibrators and microscopes.

· Collect samples as required by various regulatory agencies, complete data sheets, chain of custody forms, and prepare samples for shipment to laboratory.

· Prepare project daily logs.

· Interact between client and contractors.

· Work with regulatory agencies.

· Read project specifications and drawings

· Prepare reports.

Qualifications

· Must be able to read project specifications and drawings.

· Prior experience in various aspects of abatement projects is required.

· Must be a good communicator and a team player.

· The following certifications are required: Certified Asbestos Inspector and/or Asbestos Project Monitor.

· Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and motor vehicle records check.

· Requires 1-5 years of experience with hazardous building material consulting experience.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $65,000.00 - USD $84,427.20 /Yr.
