Miele Tehnica is a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, Germany. We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and others. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service.

As part of the Business Unit Professional IT, we develop and operate digital solutions that support Miele's professional products and services. By combining cloud technologies, automation, and modern engineering practices, we enable reliable, scalable, and secure digital platforms that support customers and business operations worldwide.

In this position, you will help build and operate the cloud platform that powers our digital services. Working closely with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Architects, you will enable reliable software delivery through automation, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps best practices. Your work will directly contribute to improving platform reliability, developer productivity, and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery.
  • Develop and operate observability solutions using modern monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
  • Manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Apps.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Software Engineering teams to improve automation, deployment processes, and platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous platform improvements.
  • Document infrastructure, APIs, and service architecture to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Your Skill Set

Required:

  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts, security best practices, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience working with monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Good written and spoken English.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Datadog, or ELK.
  • Experience with Akamai CDN, Security Center, WAF, or Bot Management.
  • Knowledge of database operations and automation.
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
  • German language skills.

Education
