At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.

Position Summary The Group Marketing Manager, Product Portfolio provides day-to-day leadership for Product Portfolio Management across Tactile Medical’s Respiratory, Lymphedema, and Digital Health product areas. This role strengthens execution of current business priorities, improves product management operating discipline, and creates leadership leverage for enterprise portfolio transformation, diagnostics strategy, digital health expansion, and future-state organizational capability building. The role directly leads product managers responsible for portfolio execution, lifecycle management, commercialization planning, launch readiness, business planning support, cross-functional coordination, and product management talent development. This leader serves as the primary operational lead for the current product portfolio and first escalation point for routine portfolio tradeoffs and execution decisions.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Lead responsible product portfolio execution across Respiratory, Lymphedema, and Digital Health, including lifecycle management, portfolio health reviews, prioritization, and routine tradeoff decisions.
  • Manage, coach, and develop product managers while building capability in commercial orientation, data fluency, launch planning, lifecycle management, and cross-functional influence.
  • Oversee commercialization planning and launch readiness, ensuring messaging, training inputs, field enablement, FAQs, and customer-facing requirements are coordinated and delivered on time.
  • Drive cross-functional operating discipline by clarifying owners, decision rights, dependencies, risks, escalation paths, and follow-through across key partners.
  • Support business planning and portfolio reviews by translating performance, customer feedback, market insights, competitive activity, and risks into clear recommendations.
  • Establish consistent portfolio management rhythms, dashboards, decision logs, launch trackers, and feedback loops to improve visibility, accountability, and execution quality.
  • Partner with R&D, Sales, Clinical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Customer Care, Marketing Communications, Enterprise Marketing Insights, and Digital Health stakeholders to support aligned execution.
  • Create leadership leverage by owning routine product management execution and building a scalable management layer that enables senior portfolio leadership to focus on transformation, governance, diagnostics strategy, and future growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of product management, product marketing, portfolio management, medical device, healthcare technology, digital health, or related commercial experience.
  • 3+ years of direct or indirect people leadership, team leadership, or significant product management coaching experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple product priorities, launches, lifecycle initiatives, or commercialization workstreams.
  • Strong commercial orientation with ability to connect product decisions to customer, patient, field, payer, provider, and business outcomes.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments with Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, Product Development, Operations, and Marketing teams.
  • Strong executive communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.

Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Medical device or MedTech product management leadership experience.
  • Experience with respiratory, lymphedema, chronic disease management, digital health, connected care, or diagnostics-adjacent product portfolios.
  • Experience managing product managers or leading a distributed product portfolio team.
  • Experience building operating cadences, portfolio dashboards, launch readiness processes, and product management capability frameworks.
  • Experience supporting annual operating plans, portfolio reviews, and business case development.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.

US Pay Range

$140,000—$200,000 USD
