What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Business Intelligence Architect to join our team! This is a technical and administrative position responsible for the research, development and maintenance of the Power BI Reporting Platform for Trillium. This will include configuration, implementation, design, and proactive support and management of the organization’s Power BI Platform, as directed. Assists with assessing the organization's reporting needs and helping in the development of a long-term strategy for reporting. Leading, planning, coordinating, and administering activities relating to reporting systems development, documentation, and implementation. Provide technical support around systems capabilities to Information Technology projects. Provides training for IT and Trillium staff, as needed and directed.

On a typical day, you might:

  • Design, build, test, deploy, document, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions and semantic models, including the SQL queries, data pipelines, and dependent systems that power them—continuously assessing platform capabilities, performance, and governance.
  • Work with IT Leadership, Informatics - Data Management, IT Operations and IT - Business Systems on researching, developing, testing, deploying and documenting new methods and tools for ingestion, processing, sending and sharing of data.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement security measures (including regular audits) to safeguard information in reporting platforms and computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
  • Specify users and user access levels for each segment of the reporting platforms, as needed.
  • Select, develop and deploy code to monitor reporting platform performance
  • Develop reference and workflow documents for documentation purposes.
  • Revise agency definition of data as defined in data dictionary in regards to reporting and visualizations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in information technology, data analytics, or reporting development with knowledge of n-tier development and support, including relational and data warehouse development, extract-transform-load processes, and Structured Query Language (SQL). Requires certification; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two-year degrees require certification.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must reside within the United States.

Preferred:

  • Degree in Information Technology / MIS, Mathematics (Actuarial/ Statistics), Engineering Sciences, Data Analytics, Business, Human Service field (such as Psychology, Social Work, etc.), and/or Healthcare Administration.
  • One or more of Microsoft data systems certifications such as MTA, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL v3, Power BI, as well as INFORMS, IIBA, AWS, Azure or applicable certification(s) will be accepted.
