The Product Manager is responsible for the strategic management and growth of assigned product lines throughout their lifecycle. This role develops and executes product strategies aligned with BEKO Technologies’ business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs.
The Product Manager serves as the business owner for assigned products, driving profitability, market positioning, pricing strategy, product roadmap development, and lifecycle decisions. This individual works closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and international stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that strengthen BEKO’s competitive position and enhance customer value.
In addition to product ownership responsibilities, the Product Manager leads new product development initiatives through BEKO’s stage-gate process, coordinating cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products on time, within budget, and in alignment with strategic objectives.
This position reports to the Manager of Product Management and is based at BEKO Technologies’ headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Travel up to 10% may be required.
Areas of Responsibility:
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Own the lifecycle management of assigned product lines from market introduction through end-of-life.
- Develop and execute product strategies, positioning, and product roadmaps aligned with business objectives, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize product enhancements, engineering changes, and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities and risks. Own pricing recommendations, revenue targets, and profitability performance for assigned product lines.
New Product Development & Project Leadership
- Lead new product development initiatives through BEKO's stage-gate process, including business case development, project planning, resource coordination, risk management, stakeholder communication, and successful product launch execution.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Support
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop launch strategies, product collateral, training programs, and customer-facing communications that support market adoption and revenue growth
Global Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with product management teams at BEKO headquarters in Germany and other international partners to ensure alignment of global product strategies.
- Share market intelligence and customer insights to support global product development decisions.
- Develop and improve departmental processes, documentation, and best practices that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Job requirements and necessary skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical discipline desirable but not required.
- 3+ years of product management, product marketing, engineering, or related experience within industrial, manufacturing, or technical product environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and new product development initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing products throughout the product lifecycle.
- Experience conducting market analysis, pricing strategy development, and business case creation.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Management (ECM) and New Product Development (NPD) processes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
