Bright Money is a Consumer FinTech for middle-income consumers. It brings together SaaS products to help consumers build credit, manage their debt, and get access to suitable loans and credit cards. These are the major financial needs of middle-income consumers living paycheck-to-paycheck.
Bright is a profitable, India-built, U.S.-market Consumer FinTech, with revenue trajectory to $100M in the coming 6 months. The business model combines subscription revenue with a financial service marketplace revenues, for loans, credit cards, and credit building tools.
Bright has launched an AI money assistant and AI agentic UX flows for access to credit. It will be the first AI-driven Consumer FinTech for middle-income consumers.
The Bright product suite has potential for global markets beyond the US. The market size is 100M global middle-income consumers, with a revenue pool opportunity of $15B.

Bright was founded in 2019 by a founding team from McKinsey’s Banking Practice (Petko Plachkov and Avi Patchava) and InMobi Data Scientists (Varun Modi and Avi Patchava). What is the team & role about?
We’re looking for a Product Manager to work closely with the product leadership team to build and scale our new credit card product for consumers in the US. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work across the entire product lifecycle — from defining the customer problem and product strategy to launching, iterating, and scaling the product. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Risk, Credit, Growth, Operations, and external partners to build a compelling credit card experience.
What will you do?
- Own key parts of the credit card product end-to-end, from strategy and roadmap to execution and growth.
- Deeply understand customer needs, credit behavior, and competitive products to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Work with engineering and design to ship 0→1 product experiences and continuously improve existing ones.
- Partner with Risk, Credit, Operations, and external card/issuer partners to solve complex fintech problems.
- Define product metrics, analyze funnels and cohorts, and use data to make product decisions.
- Run experiments to improve acquisition, activation, engagement, spend, retention, and overall unit economics.
- Translate ambiguous business and customer problems into clear product requirements and actionable roadmaps.
- Work closely with senior leadership to prioritize opportunities and drive execution in a fast-moving environment.
Ideal candidate profile looks like
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, consumer technology, lending, payments, or credit.
- Hands-on experience with building a credit card product (Either in India or the US)
- High ownership experience of e2e product or high impact areas of Activation, Retention and Monetization of the Card
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — you’re comfortable going deep into data and figuring out why something is happening.
- Experience taking products from idea → launch → iteration, with a strong bias toward execution.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with limited hand-holding.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer obsession combined with strong commercial judgment.
