Job role: Data Engineer - Databricks & Treasury Data lake.

DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks and modern data platforms to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data solutions within a cloud-based analytics environment.
The role focuses on building and optimizing data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems, transforming data across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, and ensuring data reliability, integrity, and availability for downstream consumers. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient, secure, and scalable data operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products.
Tasks:
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems.
· Transform and manage data through Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
· Implement automated data quality validation processes.
· Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, reliability, integrity, and availability.
· Optimize data pipelines to improve performance and scalability.
· Apply data engineering best practices across data platform development and operations.
· Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve data processing issues.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
· Support efficient, secure, and reliable data operations within a modern cloud-based analytics environment.
Specific Expertise:
· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Databricks.
· Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
· Expertise in data transformation processes using Bronze, Silver, and Gold architectures.
· Knowledge of automated data quality validation, monitoring, and alerting practices.
· Experience optimizing data processing performance and scalability.
· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data processing issues.
· Understanding of modern cloud-based analytics environments.
· Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
· Professional proficiency in English.
· 5 to 7 years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
