This is a permanent, full-time position supporting a global network transformation initiative.

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in the migration of enterprise network infrastructure from Cisco to Fortinet and Juniper technologies. You will serve as the technical escalation point for deployment issues, lead change management activities, and support the successful delivery of large-scale network refresh projects across multiple sites.

The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer:

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex deployment and migration issues.
  • Troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches, wireless solutions, and Cisco environments during cutovers.
  • Provide technical guidance and root-cause analysis to implementation and field teams.
  • Manage network-related change controls within ServiceNow.
  • Create and review change requests to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Configure, deploy, and optimize:
  • Fortinet firewalls (VPNs, SD-WAN, HA, security policies)
  • Juniper switches (EX/QFX series, VLANs, routing, security)
  • Juniper wireless access points and controllers
  • Support migration activities including staging, validation, cutovers, and post-deployment tuning.
  • Maintain network documentation, standards, and runbooks.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Work Set-up / Work Schedule

  • Remote (with some occasional onsite as needed)
  • EST Hours

Who we are looking for

A successful candidate for the role needs to have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience with Juniper switching and wireless technologies.
  • Good understanding of Cisco networking to support migration activities.
  • Experience managing change controls in ServiceNow.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, wireless, and security.
  • Experience working in large-scale, multi-site deployment environments.
  • Ability to lead technical troubleshooting and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Regarded Skills and Experience

  • Fortinet NSE, Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with large-scale network refresh or transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of Python, Ansible, or other automation tools.
  • Experience with SD-WAN, Zero Trust, or cloud-integrated networking.
  • Mentoring and leadership experience.
