Littelfuse is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve security controls that protect enterprise systems, cloud services, applications, data, and manufacturing operations. As a senior technical expert, you will partner with IT, Engineering, Compliance, Product Security, and business teams to embed security into technology solutions and strengthen our global security posture.

About the job:

  • Design, implement, and manage security controls across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, email, application, data, and manufacturing environments.
  • Embed security by design into projects, architecture reviews, system integrations, and technology changes.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and third-party security assessments.
  • Develop and maintain secure configuration standards, technical documentation, and implementation guidance.
  • Drive remediation of vulnerabilities and configuration risks, validating effectiveness through testing and evidence.
  • Support Security Operations with detection improvements, incident response enhancements, and control optimization.
  • Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to translate business, customer, audit, and regulatory requirements into scalable technical controls.
  • Leverage automation, AI, metrics, and dashboards to improve security effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Contribute to customer security reviews, M&A activities, and other strategic initiatives.

AI and Automation

  • Utilize Generative AI and Agentic AI responsibly to improve security analysis, vulnerability triage, documentation, and repetitive engineering tasks.
  • Design and maintain secure automations and integrations using APIs, scripting, orchestration, and workflow tools.
  • Assess AI-related risks including prompt injection, data leakage, excessive access, insecure integrations, and privacy concerns.
  • Implement guardrails, validation mechanisms, logging, and human oversight for AI-enabled security processes.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, infrastructure security, systems engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of security controls across identity, endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, applications, operating systems, and data protection.
  • Experience conducting security assessments, vulnerability management, remediation programs, and risk-based decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as EDR, PAM, SIEM, and related security platforms.
  • Practical understanding of AI security risks, secure AI adoption, and output validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment, including OT/IT security considerations.
  • Experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Defender, Intune, or Purview.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, Zero Trust, vulnerability management, third-party risk, and secure software development practices.
  • Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or workflow/orchestration platforms.
