Full description
EquiMatch simplifies mergers and acquisitions (M&A) origination using AI-driven research and personalized outreach. We use AI to create a qualified target list for buyers and M&A advisors, eliminating the need for in-house analysts with no upfront costs – you only pay for successful deals. For sellers, we adopt a respectful, personalized approach aligned with your goals, be it exiting or forming a partnership. At EquiMatch, we ensure meaningful conversations and strategic opportunities by matching buyers and sellers where their interests align.
Tasks
- Mandate project management. Drive each search from scoping through longlist, outreach, and live conversations. Know what stage every mandate is in, what the next step is, and who owes it.
- Program view / scrum master. Maintain one honest picture across all live mandates — what is on track, what is blocked, what is at risk, and what needs a founder to unblock it.
- Reporting. Produce client-facing progress updates and the internal numbers behind them: coverage, response rates, meetings generated, mandate velocity. Make the reporting reliable enough that nobody asks for a status call.
- QA. Run the checks that stand between our data and a client's inbox. Nothing goes out unverified.
- Process. Turn recurring work into documented, delegable process. Where a process can be automated or handed to an AI workflow, say so and build it.
- Founder leverage. Prepare client and investor conversations, capture the follow-ups, and close them. A lot of this work is unglamorous and consequential.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English and at least one major European language - strong preference for German.
- Great communication skills.
