About the position
As Technical Product Manager – Rollout Lead AI, you will play a central role within Products.Innovation.Experience at Deutsche Telekom. You will be responsible for scaling AI-powered consumer experiences internationally and driving their rollout from an initial launch market into further European markets.
You will coordinate market readiness, technical implementation, governance, compliance, commercial alignment, operations and continuous improvement. In this role, you will work closely with central engineering and platform teams, local product, commercial, IT and service organisations, as well as senior stakeholders.
You will combine program leadership with technical product management and ensure a structured, measurable and sustainable implementation of the European rollout strategy.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Product Manager, you continuously translate overarching business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps and product specifications, defining the technical product requirements, customer groups and application scenarios.
- You analyse and assess global market requirements, monitor market developments and the competitive environment, as well as new technologies and standards
- You take responsibility for innovation and technology scouting and evaluation
- You develop product, market launch and sales strategies and support product launches, including in an international environment
- You are responsible for the technical and commercial management of Group-wide development projects as well as products and services
- You lead and manage agile teams or strategically oriented projects
Requirements
You have completed a degree specialising in program management, business informatics, computer science, engineering or a comparable field, or possess an equivalent qualification. In addition, you have several years of professional experience in technical product development.
You also have the following knowledge and skills:
- Several years of experience independently planning and managing complex international rollout programmes
- Excellent experience in traditional and agile forms of collaboration
- Excellent experience leading strategic and cross-functional projects
- Experience with stage-gated programme plans, go/no-go decisions, risk management and dependency management
- Experience managing technical implementations and international product launches
- Experience managing security, data protection, regulatory and compliance requirements across different countries
- Excellent knowledge of product lifecycle management
- Excellent market understanding and a good understanding of AI-powered products and digital platforms
- Strong data literacy and experience working with KPIs, dashboards and business cases
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and senior-management collaboration skills
- Very good English skills
