What You’ll Do

As a Financial Analyst, you will:

  • Analyzes and communicates the financial and operational performance of the Carlsbad and Indianapolis operations, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepares, consolidates, and presents financial reports, comparing actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods to support decision-making.
  • Performs variance analysis, identifies the primary drivers of deviations, and follows up with the appropriate teams to address them.
  • Supports the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, as well as the development and maintenance of financial models and analyses.
  • Prepares and analyzes information related to income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, gross margin, and other financial metrics.
  • Analyzes costs, expenses, and operational metrics to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and potential impacts on business profitability.
  • Monitors compliance with the company’s purchasing policy and financial controls, identifying deviations and following up with business partners.
  • Collaborates with Finance and Operations teams in Carlsbad, Mexicali, Texas, and Indianapolis to address requests, validate information, and follow up on business priorities.
  • Maintains financial processes, documentation, and records up to date, and participates in continuous improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives for financial reports and processes.
  • Responsible for behaving in a professional manner both internally and externally in relationships that positively impact the company's reputation and comply with the company's policies and practices. Responsible for being accountable and committed to demonstrating Breg’s cultural beliefs and achieving the key results of the company.
  • Responsible for promoting Breg's culture within the organization using established tools such as storytelling, providing focused feedback, and recognition. What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum English proficiency of 80%.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Public Accountant or in a related accounting/finance role.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and PowerPoint, as well as Internet navigation. Ability to learn and effectively use new systems and software applications is required.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools for productivity, such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, is required or preferred, depending on the position requirements.

Compensation

Actual compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus.
