Job Details: Job Location: Work From Home - Clive, IA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $80000.00 - $130000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Negligible, Job Shift: Fully Remote, Job Category: Data Analyst, Are you passionate about using data to improve healthcare outcomes? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support healthcare payment analysis, medical review evaluation, and policy research efforts that help strengthen federal healthcare programs. The salary range for a candidate with the required qualifications is $80,000 - $95,000 per year. The salary range for a candidate with the preferred qualifications is $110,000 - $130,000 per year. Responsibilities: Integrate datasets tracking healthcare billing and payment, medical reviews, and related operations Construct summaries and analyses for monitoring healthcare payments and evaluating medical review activities Contribute to research questions related to federal healthcare policy and payments through data querying and analysis Collaborate with a multi-skilled team of analysts and policy experts on project-based work Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical field, such as mathematics, statistics, economics, or epidemiology, or similar academic experience 2+ years in data analysis related to healthcare Proficiency in Excel Proficiency in programming for data analysis in a language such as Python, R, SAS, or STATA Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years in data analysis related to Medicare Familiarity with Medicare claims data Data analysis proficiency in Python Querying proficiency in SQL Experience with the Integrated Data Repository (IDR) claims database Other Requirements: Eligibility for federal background checks, including residence in the United States for at least 3 years out of the past 5 years
