Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – Automation & AI Engineering to lead the design, delivery, and scaling of enterprise automation solutions while building the engineering capabilities to deliver Generative AI and Agentic AI initiatives. This role combines engineering leadership, technical strategy, people management, and delivery excellence to drive digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Automation & AI engineering team.
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and delivery governance.
- Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise automation solutions using UiPath and related technologies.
- Provide technical oversight for solution architecture, integrations, security, scalability, and production support.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, and platform teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Build the roadmap for adopting Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and AI Agents within automation solutions.
- Partner with business stake holders in improving business outcomes using Automation and AI technologies
- Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), reusable frameworks, and engineering accelerators.
- Partner with AI/ML teams to integrate OpenAI, RAG, document intelligence, and AI-powered workflows.
- Drive Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, quality engineering, and operational excellence.
- Manage engineering roadmaps, delivery plans, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years in Software Engineering, Automation, or Enterprise Application Development.
- At least 5 years of experience in people management as an Engineering Manager or Sr Engineering Manager
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with UiPath RPA, including Orchestrator, AI Center, Action Center, Document Understanding, queues, assets, triggers, robots, and deployment management.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, SDLC, and engineering governance.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, OpenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and AI Agents is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting feasibility assessments, ROI analysis, process assessments, automation opportunity identification, and solution estimation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable, and value-driven technical solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, mentoring, documentation, and presentation skills.
