The role involves ensuring proper US GAAP and local accounting treatment for balance sheets and P&L, alongside preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. You will also perform month-end closing activities and provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support corporate needs.

This is a fixed-term contract
Your Role
- Ensure proper US GAAP and local accounting/tax treatment for balance sheet and P&L for the entities in scope.
- Timely preparation of assigned accounting activities – e.g. JVs preparation, accruals calculation, providing posting instruction, issuing invoices, assigned financial month end closing activities.
- Preparation of Budgets and Forecats, Actual reporting and ather analysis and calculations related to rebilling of APTIV shared costs in EMEA region.
- Actual reporting, Forecast and Budget preparation, Actual&Forecats vs Budget analysis for multiple EMEA Corporate Corporate shared functions.
- Timely and accurately preparation of standards reports (e.g. OI, Restructuring, FX Exposure, Act&Fcst vs Bgt, variants comparisions).
- Prepare/provide other ad-hock calculations, reports and presentations depending on corprate needs within the area of team responsibilities.
- Back-up other team members in areas indicated by supervisor
- Performing other task related to team responsibilities upon Supervisor’s request
- On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for APTIV corporation and Technical Center in Krakow
Your Backround
- Masters degree with major Accountancy, Finance, Economics
- Knowledge of accounting standards.
- Experience on similar position - nice to have
- Excellent analytical skills
- Very good computer skills - especially MS Excel
- Knowledge of SAP, HFM - nice to have
- Fluent English
- Very good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
