Job Description
We’re looking for a highly organised, delivery-focused IT Project Manager to join our Technology team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects, keeping multiple workstreams moving and making sure things actually get delivered.
Someone who doesn't simply report that a project is running late – they understand why, identify what needs to happen next and bring the right people together to get it back on track.
You’ll manage technology projects from planning through to implementation, working across business teams, developers, technology specialists and external vendors. You’ll also take ownership of the coordination and control of our IT assets, ensuring equipment is ordered, tracked, allocated and accounted for.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology and want a role where you can take real ownership of delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Manage IT and technology projects from initiation through to implementation and close-out.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and deliverables.
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders and external technology partners.
- Track project risks, issues and dependencies and proactively drive resolution.
- Provide clear project reporting and maintain strong project governance.
- Manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Coordinate technology vendors and monitor delivery against agreed commitments.
- Manage the IT asset lifecycle, including stock, ordering, allocation, tracking, returns and disposal.
- Maintain an accurate IT asset register and conduct regular stock and asset reconciliations.
- Forecast IT equipment requirements and coordinate procurement for new employees, replacements and business requirements.
- Monitor IT equipment expenditure and support technology budgeting and replacement planning.
- Support successful implementation, business readiness and handover of technology solutions.
What we're looking for
You’re someone who takes ownership and enjoys getting things done. You create structure, follow through on commitments and are comfortable holding people accountable for agreed actions and deadlines.
You’ll ideally bring:
- 5–8 years' relevant experience, including at least 3–5 years in IT project management or technology delivery.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with software, systems implementation, infrastructure, digital transformation or technology-related projects.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
- Experience with IT asset management, technology procurement or equipment inventory management.
- Strong project planning, risk management and reporting skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The confidence to work across both technical and non-technical teams.
