The Financial Analyst III provides data management, project support, and reporting services to support the Government analysts and leadership in daily operational financial management analysis required as part of the maintenance of Navy ERP.
Provide Financial Management (FM) Systems and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) support to include preparing packages of key supporting documentation for internal control testing and audit samples associated with Internal Controls Financial Reporting in Navy ERP. Navy ERP experience preferred to assist them with building packages and assisting with the financial system technical support needed.
Provide Business Financial Management (BFM) support to supplement government workforce daily routine functions like building project structures in Navy ERP, data management in the system. Preparing and creating financial reports from multiple projects and programs which requires strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of (6) years of experience, to include: analyzing past and present financial data of organization and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance. Possesses experience with preparation and implementation of Navy ERP. Aids organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control. Evaluates and analyzes capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. Proficient in research methods, statistical analysis, and the use of analytical software (excel spreadsheets). Experience related to working as part of a team in the delivery of product or service.
