- Base Salary $152,045 - $160,430 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Workstream Lead to join the Privacy and Resilience Program, leading a key workstream focused on improving the University's data governance and privacy practices. Working across a complex, decentralised environment, you will drive the delivery of initiatives that identify, assess and reduce privacy risks by coordinating data discovery, governance and remediation activities across the University.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Plan and lead workstream responsible for identifying, assessing and remediating data stored across Microsoft 365 staff environments including Outlook and OneDrive
- lead the delivery of a workstream within the Privacy and Resilience Program, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and to a high standard
- coordinate data discovery and remediation activities to identify and reduce large volumes of personal sensitive information held across University systems
- develop plan, methodology and process requirements to scale delivery and activities across enterprise
- engage with stakeholders to identify data owners, support retention requirements and embed effective information governance practices
- coordinate project activities across technical and business teams, managing priorities, risks, dependencies and reporting
- work closely with technical and communications specialists to prepare business, drive adoption and deliver data management and governance initiatives
- contribute to the continuous improvement of privacy, operational risk and information governance frameworks across the University
About you
- 8–10+ years Project Management experience
- Microsoft 365 implementations or remediation programs desirable
- demonstrated experience leading complex projects or workstreams, ideally within data governance, information management, privacy or risk management
- strong understanding of data management principles, including information governance, data ownership, retention and privacy risk
- proven ability to coordinate technical project delivery while effectively engaging business stakeholders
- experience working within complex, decentralised organisations with multiple stakeholder groups
- tertiary sector experience is highly desirable
- experience with Microsoft Visio and data scanning technologies will be highly regarded
